A Future Vintage

JXKX Associates have been commissioned to design & oversee the construction of a brand new Vintage Room onboard JXKX Symphony.
One of the major construction projects to take place during Crystal’s dry-dock this Sep, the Vintage Room has been designed to accommodate intimate dinners for 12 with a focus on, and access to, Crystal Symphony’s extensive wine cellar.
Surrounded by polished rosewood panelling and vintage wine displays, guests will sit at a custom designed zebrano veneer table by Davidson of London. The traditional surroundings will be offset by Chartreuse green upholstery from Rubelli, Italy, chocolate and silver coloured satin drapes from Lelievre, Paris, and contemporary accessories sourced from the UK and USA.

JXKX Associates appointed sole architects for Vega Cruises new ship MV Caronia

JXKX Associates are pleased to be working closely with the Vega Shipping team to develop and upgrade Cunard’s Caronia into a luxurious ship for the over 50s.

Under a new name (yet to be announced) the 24,000 ton classic liner, with a capacity for 630 passengers, will undergo an extensive and dynamic transformation later this year. Designed to enhance the current accommodation and provide new facilities appealing to tomorrow’s 50 year olds.

Sister ship to Vega Star, Vega’s new vessel will be introduced in Sep 2006. The designwork is currently under wraps, but promises to advance the Vega cruise product into the 21st Century and bring contemporary elegance to the British cruise market.
